Taryn Pearce
Taryn grew up on the back of a horse, riding anything she could, showing at many top shows up and down the east coast. At 16 she took a full time job as a barn manager and groom. While caring for several FEI horses she also showed successfully in the junior jumpers with several different horses. After her top horse got hurt she was left falling in love with the sale horses and ended up buying her $1 horse Cleverly. Taryn took Cleverly from a dangerous unstarted 6 y/o through the 4* level of eventing. Taryn also produced her own mare Quinn whom she started and competed through intermediate as well 1.35 jumpers before the mare got hurt. After both Cleverly and Quinn were retired Taryn partnered with SE Farm and produced many of their Clair De Lune SE offspring from their first jump to a successful career as an eventer or show jumper. In 2018 Taryn was handed the reins on For His Glory SE (For Pleasure x Darco) with whom she had several wins and top 10 placings in national grand prixs on the east coast. In 2018 Taryn also started riding for New Normandy Farm and had lots of success with their young horses. In 2019 Taryn moved to Rozet, Wyoming and started Ninja Performance Horses with her husband Justin. Breeding and developing young horses has become her passion. In 2021 Ninja Performance Horses moved to Ticonderoga, NY and now resides on a beautiful 136 acre farm with lots of room for broodmares, babies and training horses alike.
In 2023 Taryn got the ride on the gorgeous, young, KWPN, pinto stallion Komanche HB owned by HIdden Brook Stables together they started the year off jumping the 1.00 and ended their season jumping clear rounds in the 1.20-1.30. 2024 will be a big year for Komanche, Taryn truly believes this great stallion will jump some big tracks. MIlagro SE owned by SE Farms had a fantastic year finishing top 10 at all of her events, jumping around prelim at the AECs in KY like it was a walk in the park. The pair is looking forward to jumping some red numbers in 2024! 2024 is going to be a busy year with several of our babies finally getting to be of riding age. Taryn will be out competing our two young stallions Ninja Turtle (Copabella Visage x Utah Van Erprekom) and Guildenstern (Goldmaker XX x Don Frederico).
